Registration
I am registered with SAM. When I try to register with FedConnect, it is stating that I am not registered with SAM. Why?
Please make sure that you are using the correct UEI SAM value and correct EFT value. Also note that your account with SAM must be in an "active" status, without any pending changes.
I am trying to register with FedConnect using my UEI SAM. I am receiving a message stating that my UEI SAM and my EFT are incorrect, but I have double checked them and they are both correct. What's going on?
Make sure your account in SAM is not in a "pending" status. You can only register with FedConnect if your SAM account is active and without pending approvals.

FedConnect is designed to allow the user to have an intuitive and user-friendly experience. Should you need additional help after using this online help system, email us at support@fedconnect.net or call us at 800.899.6665, Option 2.
Why am I not getting notification emails for solicitations?
To receive notifications from FedConnect regarding new solicitations for your company, in your profile, select the agency or agencies from which you want to receive opportunity information. To find out more about that, jump to Managing Your List of Agency Notifications.
I am trying to register with another UEI SAM or company. FedConnect says that the email address is already in use. How can I register with more than one company?
You may register with more than one UEI SAM number, but you can only use an email address one time when registering with FedConnect. One suitable alternative might be to create "alias" email addresses for use with multiple UEI SAM numbers—for example, you might use the email address user@fedconnect.net to register as a FedConnect user with your first UEI SAM value, and then use the email address user1@fedconnect.net to register as a FedConnect user with a second UEI SAM value.
I have clicked on the Search Public Opportunities link but I am still unable to see a solicitation that should have been sent to me. Why?
Please make sure that you are signed in to FedConnect before searching for non-public opportunities. You will also need to sign in if you are planning on responding to opportunities and their related messages, regardless of their status as public or directed.
I have registered with FedConnect, but I do not have a user ID and have not received a password to sign in. Where do I get my password?
Your user ID is your email address. Your password is sent to you at your email address. If you did not receive it, please check your junk email filter and/or have your IT department check the central server for blocked email coming from notifier@fedconnect.net. The system permits email domain extensions longer than three characters. It also permits apostrophes in an email address, provided the apostrophe is placed BEFORE the @ symbol.
I forgot my password. What should I do? Can you please reset it for me?
To reset your password, go the Sign In page. (To find out more, jump to Signing In to FedConnect®.) Type your user ID (email address) in the User ID field and click Forgot your password? Click here. A new password will be sent to you via email. If you do not receive it within 30 minutes, email us at support@fedconnect.net or call us at 800.899.6665, Option 2.
