THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice. This information is requested as market research. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking businesses with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capabilities to perform the proposed requirement. The EPA currently has a contract that operates and manages food services for the EPA Campus Facility located at 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. These services include cafeteria food services, catering services, and Employee Store operations. The EPA has a full service cafeteria that provides full food service operations to a population of 2,100 people. The existing contractor has an average of 325 customers per day at breakfast and 400 customers per day at lunch time. In an effort to provide a broader range of food selections, the cafeteria is arranged in a ¿Food Court¿ style. Employees have the convenience of approaching the desired station and then proceeding directly to a cashier terminal. The food court shall include a variety of cuisines as well as pre-packaged fares for the employees on the go. A special ¿value¿ menu shall be included in the daily food options. A ¿Take Home Meal¿ Program is offered for employees desiring to take meals. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation. Any and all businesses, large or small, that are qualified to perform this work are encouraged to respond. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code that applies to this requirement is 722310 Cafeteria Food Service Contractors, the size standard is: $38.5 Million. It is requested that interested parties submit a brief response to this notice. Respondents must include a company profile, to include number of employees, annual receipts, office location(s), DUNS number references with detail of work performed, and information on at least three recently (past 3 years) completed projects of similar work within the same magnitude of this notice. Each reference shall include the company name and title, telephone number, and point of contact. Indicate whether your firm was the prime contractor or subcontractor on other similar projects. Interested parties who believe that they are qualified to perform these services must submit for evaluation, the requested information, a list of projects by contract numbers, project titles, description of work, contract dollar value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and whether they are a small business.
