Opportunity: MT- SATELLITE SYNCHRONIZATION CLOCK

This is a Sources Sought (SS) issued by the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) in support of our Montana Area Office which is in need of a synchronized clock network for all protection relays and meters for the Yellowtail Powerplant. This synchronized clock network is used to assist in the time coordination between critical systems. This clock network must be compatible with existing Schweitzer relays. The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking qualified sources to provide the equipment at the power plant which is located approximately 90 miles southeast of Billings in Big Horn County, near the town of Ft. Smith, Montana. Bureau of Reclamation is conducting this SS as part of market research to determine the capability of industry to address the prospective requirement described below. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Quote (RFQ) and no submissions will be accepted as official offers for a contract. BOR will not reimburse respondents for any expenses associated with this SS.
