REROOFING PORT GIBSON MAINT. OFFICE Port Gibson, MS Claiborne County 100% Small Business The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for the Natchez Trace Parkway, Claiborne County, Mississippi. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to paint and finishing the interior and exterior of the building per Statement of Work. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for Claiborne County, Mississippi will apply. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the project specifications. The Notice to Proceed on the project will be issued at the discretion of the government and all work shall be concluded within 60 calendar days of the project start date. Bidders are cautioned to take the performance period into consideration when preparing their bid. See clause titled "Commencement, Prosecution and Completion of Work." Performance and payment bonds are required within 10 days after contract award. Proof of Liability Insurance shall be required before Notice to Proceed will be issued. Contract award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable to the government based on the solicitation. This notice is not the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal electronically on or about July 08, 0217 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website www.fbo.gov. Original bids are due on or about August 7, 2017 (see solicitation for exact date and time bids are due).The solicitation, drawings, and specifications will be available for download at www.fedbizopps.gov. Amendments will not be mailed but will also be posted at the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov. Electronic files will be published in HTML, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF formats. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company's DUNS number, available at Dunn and Bradstreet at 888-546- 0024, and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). All vendors should pre-register to save time by logging onto the federal System for Award Management at the internet site http://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160 and the size standard is $15M. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions.
