Opportunity: Interpreter Services

Description 

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office is seeking responsible vendors to establish a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for commercial items service to provide Limited English Proficient (LEP) and American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation Services to be conducted under FAR Part 13. The vendor shall provide certified interpreters as required. The performance period will be from the date of award for a period of five (5) years. The NAICS code is 541930 and the small business size standard is $7.5M. This opportunity is open to small businesses. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement must include: (1) Evidence of LEP interpreters certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) or National Association of Judiciary Interpreters & Translators (NAJIT); (2) Evidence of ASL interpreters possessing documented certification as recognized by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the National Association for the Deaf (NAD); (3) Statement as to whether the firm is capable of providing both LEP and ASL interpreting services or only one of the services; and (4) Specific geographic areas in Oregon and Washington it is capable of servicing.
