SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT (SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE) FOR REFUSE/RECYCLING COLLECTION IN CATOCTIN MOUNTAIN PARK, THURMONT, MD. SEE ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW. SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 13, 2018 WITH QUOTES BEING DUE AUGUST 27, 2018. National Park Service National Capital Region Catoctin Mountain Park SOURCES SOUGHT Refuse/Recycling Collection I. Introduction: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST ONLY ¿ This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties and their capability to support the requirement for a BASE PLUS 4 OPTION YEARS CONTRACT FOR REFUSE/RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICES IN CATOCTIN MOUNTAIN PARK, HEADQUARTERED IN THURMONT, MD. SELECTED CONTRACTOR WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE BEAR PROOF COLLECTION CONTAINERS AS PART OF THE SERVICE. Responses to this Sources Sought will be considered and will help the Government dictate a path forward. All small business categories will be considered. Capability statements will also be accepted. Solicitations and incumbent information are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer, any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. IV. Site Visit/Industry Day: Site visit information is not available at this time. V. Responses to the Sources Sought: Responses should address the following items: A. Indicate if your company qualifies under any of the small business classifications such as: Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, HubZone, etc. Interested parties are requested to respond to this Sources Sought with the following data: Administrative Data: Company name, POC name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail of designated point of contact. Technical Data: Individual, detailed responses to the requested information in section V above. The Government will assume that the responder does NOT agree to the release of its submission to Government support contractors. Submission: Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to kristie_haskett@nps.gov by August 10, 2018 at 5:00 pm Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
