Sources Sought Notice THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office is conducting market research for juvenile detention services on or near the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation, near The Dalles, in the state of Oregon. This market research is to identify potential sources who can provide safe, secure detention services for juvenile offenders who have been arraigned and are awaiting transport, serving sentences and/or awaiting release from custody as a result of having been arrested, or convicted of tribal violations occurring in Indian Country within the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services in the state of Oregon. These services shall be provided in the state of Oregon in or near the township of The Dalles, Oregon. The Warm Springs Tribe adheres to all state, local and Federal laws, complies with the American Correctional Association (ACA), Core Jail Standards, Indian Civil Rights Act of 1968, and facility policy and procedures. The juvenile offenders must have access to routine medical services on as needed basis and the facility must demonstrate established protocols for accessing emergency care. Routine care shall be provided via 100 miles to the nearest Indian Health Services (I.H.S.) Clinic or Tribal Health Clinic located in the township of Warm Springs, Oregon, when required. Potential offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Anita MacAuley at Anita.MacAuley@bia.gov no later than March 3, 2017. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; and any relevant details concerning the offeror¿s experience in providing detention services. Any questions or concerns about this sources sought notice may be directed to Anita MacAuley via e-mail. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
