Opportunity: YAKIMA STEELHEAD BA ANALYSIS SUPPORT

Description 

Notice of Intent: The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to negotiate a single source contract with Mount Hood Environmental, P.O. Box 744, Boring, OR 9700. The services being procured are 1) development and testing of a new statistical model for prediction of population viability effects of Reclamation actions on Endangered Species Act (ESA) listed steelhead trout in the Yakima Basin and 2) utilize the model to evaluate Reclamation¿s Proposed Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Action on steelhead production and viability in the next draft of Yakima Project O&M biological assessment (BA). The anticipated period of performance is approximately six months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541690, Other Scientific & Technical Consulting Services with a small business size standard is $15M. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotations. Interested parties may identify their interest by submitting capability information, by email to the point of contact listed below, within 3 days of this notice. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
