Opportunity: 3D ACOUSTIC DOPPLER VOLOCIMETER (ADV) SYSTEM

Description 

Two (2) 3D Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter Systems (Nortek brand name or equal) The U.S. Geological Survey requires two (2) ADV Systems with plastic canisters and shipping. The 3D ADV systems must record ocean current velocities at resolutions high enough in time and space to study high frequency near-seabed velocities and micro-turbulence. The velocimeters must interface with cabled Nortek Vector VCH systems and meet specifications in Section B.2. This is a firm, fixed-priced order without options. The estimated completion date is within six weeks ARO. Quote submissions are due on or before 01/16/2020. Refer to Section E.1. for Instructions to Offerors for the Submission of Quotes. The award will be made to the offer that provides the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Refer to Section E.3. for Evaluation Factors. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside; NAICS Code 334511, Size Standard 1,250 employees. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
