Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey NY Water Science Center has a requirement running sample identification of macroinvertebrate to be delivered to Troy, NY. This requirement is expected to result in the award of a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of date of award for 7 months. With two option. The NAICS code is 541380. The size standard is $15 million The U.S. Geological Survey intends to issue a competitive RFQ under FAR Subpart 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The RFQ will be competed using small business set aside procedures. The anticipated award date of the contract is 5/30/19. A vendor must be registered at http://www.sam.gov to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
