Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive purchase order to Smith-Root for an SR-16H APEX electrofishing boat The award is being made to Smith-Root based on the fact that a comparable product that meets the needs of the NYWSC is not produced by any other manufacturer. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation no later than 11/19/18 which shall be considered by the agency. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm-fixed price award will be made on or about 11/30/18.
