Opportunity: Installation and Re-Measurement of Continuous Fore

This SOURCES SOUGHT / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Notice is being published for the purpose of conducting MARKET RESEARCH to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. All costs associated with providing information, as requested by this Sources Sought Notice/RFI, shall be the responsibility of the submitter. Submission is voluntary. This requirement is for INSTALLATION AND RE-MEASUREMENT OF CONTINUOUS FOREST INVENTORY (CFI) PLOTS in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work (Attachment 1). SOURCES SOUGHT: All Interested firms, who feel that they can provide the services, are invited to submit in writing/email an affirmative response to this announcement. An affirmative response must include: (1) Firm¿s Name, DUNS Number, POC Name, Email, and Phone Number; (2) Capability Statement applicable to the requirement, and (3) References with contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers. These references are to be for contracted services similar in scope and scale to the requirement. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Small Business Firms, who feel they can provide the services should ALSO submit their firm¿s socioeconomic status (e.g. Indian Owned Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE), service-disabled veteran-owned, women owned, HUBZone, etc.) as declared in the firm¿s SAM registration (www.sam.gov) and (3) a narrative, not to exceed two pages, describing how their firm will complete at least 51% of the work. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: (1) All firms are encouraged to review and provide input for improvements and possible cost-price saving to this Sources Sought/RFI Notice¿s Attachment 1 ¿Draft Statement of Work". Firms are encouraged to provide an estimated number of calendar days for the Performance Period. Please provide marketplace comments and suggested improvements to reduce ambiguities and introduce possible price/cost savings offered by responding firm. (2) All Firms are also encouraged to provide an itemized estimated Quote Price. All responses must be submitted NLT 11/17/2017 at 4:00 PM MST (Phoenix, AZ local time) via e-mail message to: paul.robinson@bia.gov. This Sources Sought/RFI Notice is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ, Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB). This Sources Sought/RFI Notice does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought/RFI Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (sww.fbo.gov) and FedConnect (www.fedconnect.net) websites - no paper copies will be provided.
