Opportunity: Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Description 

Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region intends to acquire the following services from Peak Reliability, Vancouver, WA on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): Provide services within Peak’s Energy Management System (proprietary databases and applications RTNET & RTCA), including hosting, managing and operating various systems including and involving SCADA network information results and real-time contingency analysis, and to facilitate the sharing of data and savecases among customers. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received within 7 calendar days after date of publication of this notice, and shall include documentation regarding vendor’s ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this notice may be directed to Anne H.
