DE-SOL-0009310 - Computer Network Center Generator Set - Request for Quote (RFQ) The United States Department of Energy (DOE), Integrated Support Center - Oak Ridge (ISC-OR) has a requirement for a contractor to install a diesel generator (Government furnished), two automatic transfer switches, and electrical conections which will, upon loss of power, provide emergency electrical power to the Computer Network Center. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Total Small Business and the ISC-OR intends to award a competitive construction firm-fixed-price type contract under the NAICS code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installion Contractors, and the size standard under the NAICS code is $15,000,000.00. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-86. A site visit will be held as indicated below: TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time DATE: January 26, 2016 PLACE: Joe L. Evins Federal Building 200 Administration Road Oak Ridge, TN 37830 (b) Any questions to be answered during the site visit must be submitted via email to Joshua.Beeler@Science.doe.gov no later than January 15, 2016. Written questions will also be taken at the site visit, but answers may not be provided at that time. All questions and answers, including those answered and not answered at the site visit will be provided via FedConnect. (c) Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory. The Government will not reimburse any offeror for expenses related to attendance of this site visit. Due to space limitations, only 2 representatives per potential offeror will be allowed at the site visit. To facilitate the government's planning; please provide the name, organizational affiliation, phone number, e-mail address and citizenship of each proposed attendee via email by completing attachment 4, Site Visit Request Form. The form should be submitted by close of business January 15, 2016. Instructions will be provided prior to the conference for any additional information that will be required for access to the site or facility and for non-US citizen attendees. (d) Offerors are urged to attend and inspect the site where services are to be performed and satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
