Description 

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to award a sole-source purchase with HPI, 100 N. Tryon Street, Suite 5500, Charlotte, NC 28202-4026 for additional daytime cleaning services at 1301 Young Street, Dallas, Texas. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.501 (a)(2). The lessor requires that all work and services in the building must be provided by or through them. Some of the office space within the building must have daytime cleaning due to the sensitive information and/or technology equipment within the space. These daytime cleaning services are not included in the existing lease. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order for a 1-year period of performance. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation and the government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted through FedConnect by March 14, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. CDT.
