Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Purchase Order to Purchase Laboratory related Instrument and supplies Response Date: September 30, 2015, 12:00 noon EST THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ. NAICS: 334516. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), Office of Environmental Compliance and Assurance, National Enforcement Investigation Center, intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Rigaku Americas Corporation for the purpose of replacing a non-functioning sequential wavelength-dispersive x-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) instrument. The Rigaku ZSX Primus II spectrometer includes delivery, installation, training and one year warranty with a trade in credit and removal of old equipment/component Rigaku ZSX sequential WDXRF. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE and IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA¿s requirements as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within the response date indicated of September 30, 2015 at 12:00 noon EST, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
