Opportunity: Notice of Contract Action

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 1 Laboratory requires repair and maintenance service for the following equipment. - 422LS Sterilization,17" Sm 02L03487 - 422LS Sterilization,17" Sm 05H06239 - CAS30B BOILER GC-31468-X2002 - CAS30C GENERATOR GC-32091-005 - HS-200 WATTS R Watts RO Modernization 05200508 - HS-200 WATTS R Watts RO Modernization 05200509 The Period of Performance of this requirement is from 10/01/2015 to 09/30/2020 to include one basic year plus four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, and the business size standard is $20.5 Million. Getinge USA, Inc. is the original manufacturer for the above listed equipment installed and being used at the EPA Region 1 Laboratory. Getinge is the only source available due to the proprietary nature of this service (see attached Sole Source Justification). This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide these required services. Requests must include company name, address, telephone, e-mail address, cage code/duns number and business size of the requester. All proposals should be delivered via e-mail to yang.lei@epa.gov, no later than 2:00pm Eastern Time, August 19, 2015. Proposals delivered by methods other than e-mail will not be accepted. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management must be current and active to be eligible for consideration of contract award.
