Opportunity: EQUIPMENT/SPACE FOR RECLAMATION EMPLOYEE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has worked collaboratively with the University of Colorado since the 1980s to develop the primary modeling tool (RiverWare) for the Colorado River Basin. This modeling tool continues to be maintained and enhanced at the University of Colorado's Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES) providing BOR personnel direct contact with the tools, systems, and development team needed to meet its water quality missions and goals. No other space could provide these critical collaborative connections and access to tools/systems. The BOR intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with the Regents of the University of Colorado for shared space, equipment, and associated support services for seven (7) BOR employees to be stationed at the CADSWES facility. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This requirement shall have a period of performance of a base year plus four option years. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 923110. Please note, this NAICS code does not have an associated small business size standard. Any responsible contractor that believes it can fulfill the Government's needs described herein may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist within five (5) days of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency.
