This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), is the contracting office for this acquisition. The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award a firm fixed price type of Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Bulletin Intelligence, LLC. (DUNS: 827749289) in accordance with FAR 13.1061(b)(1). The DOI Office of Communications information relative to the Department, Secretary, and the Department's objectives and purpose. To accomplish this mission, it is essential that the Office of Communications and various senior officials keep abreast of national news events and issues related to the Department. Experience shows that this is best accomplished by outsourcing the creation of a series of expertly edited summary briefings that weave together only the most the important elements of relevant news stories, highlighting reporting that Department officials themselves would have identified as important. The estimated value for this requirement is $34,000, with a period of performance of two (2) months (60 days) from the date of the award. It is anticipated that Purchase Order will be awarded on or about August 14, 2018. The applicable North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 519190.
