NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Kern Marketing Group under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. The Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) has a requirement for Web Site Development and Design. Design, develop and build a user friendly, integrated and responsive website with a new design for Haskell Indian Nations University. The website will be built on Word Press and Bluehost Web Hosting. It will cover the pages and content of the current Haskell Indian Nations University website and the for website tracking, Google Analytics, it is free and provides detailed analyses of the site¿s statistics. · This contractor has numerous years of experience in the support of Haskell by providing quick turnaround for requested. These request include posting of Clery Act Notices for emergencies and updates to policy. The contractor would post updates to department offices staff and information for Haskell students. · This is the only Native American Owned contractor located in Lawrence, Kansas. · With this contractor¿s experience and background working with Haskell¿s web site and the urgent timeframe to the beginning of the Fall semester, the upgrade and maintenance of Haskell¿s web site is primary. · Haskell currently has no website developer on staff at the University to update/create a website or upgrade the current website · The ability to update the current website is only done through a 3rd party contractor and causes delays in posting timely information in regards to safety or public notices · A website design will allow the staff at Haskell to update the website on their own without the need for a 3rd party contractor thus saving costs to the university. The anticipated period of performance will be from September, 2020 ¿ October 31, 2020. The total anticipated cost is $32,000.00. The period of performance will be for a year, delivery date October 31, 2020. No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541430.
