Opportunity: AMERICAN INDIAN HIGHER EDUCATION CONSORT

The Bureau of Indian Education intends to award sole source firm fixed price purchase order to American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. AIHEC is a unique¿and uniquely American Indian¿organization. It was founded in 1973 by the presidents of the nation's first six Tribal Colleges, as an informal collaboration among member colleges. Today, AIHEC represents 37 Tribal Colleges and Universities in the United States; and our member institutions serve over 27,000 students from more than 250 tribal nations. AIHEC serves the mutual needs of its members by: fostering the development and maintenance of the highest standards of quality education for American Indians and Alaska Natives by improving accessibility of education programs. The membership dues for AIHEC on behalf of Haskell Indian Nations University. These fees are for the membership of the University, athletic fees and a student congress fee. The purpose of this procurement is to award based on a sole source requirement, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm¿s capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
