Description 

This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), is the contracting office for this acquisition. The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award a firm fixed price type of Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Object Module, Inc. (DUNS: 159693969) in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The DOI Office of Emergency Management (OEM) establishes and disseminates policy and coordinates the development of bureau and office programs for an integrated and comprehensive program which spans the continuum of prevention, planning, response, and recovery. The program encompasses all types of hazards and emergencies that impact Federal lands, facilities, infrastructure, and resources; Tribal lands and Insular Areas; the ability of the Department to execute essential functions; and for which assistance is provided to other units of government under Federal laws, Executive Orders, and inter-agency emergency response plans. The DOI OEM requires H-337 class facilitation and certification for the students scheduled for training from October 30, 2017 to November 3, 2017. The H-337 class provides advanced training for DOI Officers assigned to the Command/ General Staff and Unit Leader positions on all-hazards incidents. This class is required per Departmental Manual Part 900 Emergency Management Program. The H-337 course develops skills and understanding to perform on all-hazards Type 3 incidents and mitigate the all-hazard incident. Facilitation for this training is required for the DOI personnel that are certified to be instructors at the National Park Service Alaska Regional Office in Anchorage, AK. The estimated value for this requirement is $32,700.00. It is anticipated that Purchase Order will be awarded on or before August 15, 2017. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only.
