Opportunity: TRASH PICK-UP AND DISPOSAL

NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source Requirement for Trash Pick-up and Disposal Services Sol. No. 140R3020Q0110 This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 8 - Lower Colorado Dams Office (Hoover DAM), has a requirement for Trash Pick-up and Disposal Services for all their offices within Hoover Dam Area, Nevada. Trash pick-up must occur at least three (3) times per week and occur regularly during non-business hours. The only company known to be able to perform these services for the LCROs location(s) is Boulder Disposal, Inc., located in Boulder City, NV. The NAICS for this action is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, which has a small business size standard of $41.5 million. Award is anticipated in September 2020. The resulting contract will be a Base Year plus three Option Years with a (4) year performance period, in which Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be issued for services. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services in the specified location.
