Opportunity: One-year Membership Subscription

Description

The U.S Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Strategic Planning and Global Engagement (FE-26), Office of Fossil Energy (FE), intends to award a contract with the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute (GCCSI) by means other than full and open competition. The anticipated period of performance will be January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. This award will be for a one-year membership subscription to the GCCSI, which accelerates the development, demonstration and development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) globally through its knowledge sharing activities, fact-based influential advice and advocacy, and work to create favorable conditions to implement CCS. The value of this effort is estimated to be $200,000.00. This is a Notice of Intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes DOE should not pursue this sole source contract with GCCSI, then the firm should submit a capability statement and pricing information to Mrs. Muriel O. Thomas, Muriel.thomas@hq.doe.gov, within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a completive procurement.
