The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to acquire a COTS Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tool to meet the agency requirement that all external facing applications, high value assets, and Mode 2 developed applications undergo static code analysis. The proposed static security code scanning solution will enable SSA to scan at the source code and enterprise server level in an automated fashion. The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential vendors capable of meeting SSA’s static security code scanning requirements.
