Opportunity: NOI Single-Source PO ChemWell 2910 ELISA Analyzer

Description

EPA Region 8 intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a single-source basis to Awareness Technology, Inc., Palm City, FL under RFO 12.102(a) for one new Awareness Technology ChemWell 2910 automated ELISA analyzer with OEM installation and training, a one-year on-site service contract, and a two-year extended warranty (EW-2910), delivered FOB destination to the EPA Region 8 Laboratory, Lakewood, CO 80225. This is not a request for quotations; no solicitation will be issued. The laboratory has run EPA Method 546 cyanotoxin analyses on a Chem Well-platform analyzer since 2016 using ABRAXIS ELISA kits. Market research identified no other source able to furnish a new ChemWell 2910 with manufacturer performed installation, service, and warranty. A different platform would require re-validation estimated at six months and approximately $20,000 in test kits. Firms that can furnish a NEW ChemWell 2910 with Awareness Technology performed or authorized installation, service, and extended warranty may email a capability statement to Schlenker.Ryan@epa.gov by 4:00 PM Eastern, September 24, 2026, identifying the firm’s UEI and its relationship to Awareness Technology, Inc. Responses proposing a different instrument will not be considered. The decision whether to compete this requirement is solely at the Government’s discretion. EPA will not pay for information received.
