SEWER REPAIRS AT MANZANITA LAKE, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for sewer repairs within the Manzanita Lake area of park. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to this solicitation. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237110, with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered. The work of this contract consists of consists of labor, materials, and equipment required to repair an estimated 2,019 linear feet of 6 inch gravity sewer lines serving Manzanita Lake Campground using CIPP trenchless methods. See the ¿2010 Video Inspection and Map¿ attachment for more details. This work includes CCTV video inspection, cleaning, pressure testing and all other quality /quality assurance to provide a watertight, code compliant operable, refurbished sewer collection system. This work shall also include repair of an 8 inch sewer line between and adjacent to two manholes located approximately .5 miles North of the Manzanita Lake campground. Manholes are estimated to be 10 feet deep in this area, and the contractor may need to excavate to reach the sewer line adjacent to each manhole in order to complete repairs. Repairs shall include: 1) Repair an estimated 160 linear feet of 8 inch sewer line with CIPP in between manhole #16 and #17. 2) Replace an estimated 10 linear feet of 8 inch sewer line downstream of manhole #17 with approved sewer piping, including cleaning and re¿grouting of the pipe transition zone as needed. All pipe sizing and linear footages are based on the 2010 video inspection of the sewer lines. Where video inspection data was not available the NPS has provided their best estimate based on measurements taken in the field. The contractor is responsible for field verifying all data. The contractor shall be responsible for removing and replacing any damaged asphalt and/or concrete as well as trenching, backfill, compaction and site rehabilitation if excavation is required in order to access the sewer line. Work includes but is not limited to all direct and indirect costs associated with mobilization, administrative needs, bonding, insurance etc. as required to accomplish the work described in this contract. An organized site tour has been scheduled - see Section L for more information.
