Amendment #1: Corrects the Quote Sheet, updates maps and restricts the use of doweled wood posts. Please see Amendment #1 for further information. Original RFQ: The BLM intends to award a contract to construct an estimated 2,480 rods of four wire fence (top three strands of barbed wire with the bottom wire barbless) with assemblies in Valley County Montana. The full Request for Quote is available on wwww.fedconnect.net. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. A Site Tour is scheduled for August 1, 2017 at 9am. Interested quoters are to meet at the BLM Glasgow Field Office located at 5 Lasar Drive in Glasgow Montana. Expect to drive over unimproved roads to the project site. Estimated period of performance is 42 days from the start of the contract. Price range is between $30,000 and $100,000. 100% payment protection is required for construction contracts awarded over $30,000. All questions are to be emailed to csweeney@blm.gov and must be received 5 business days prior to the close date to receive a response. You will be asked to email any questions received by phone. This is a Small Business Set-aside. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. Subcontracting is limited per 52.219-14. An active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) is required by the solicitation close date. Registration in SAM is free.
