Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Arizona Water Science Center, Tucson, Arizona, requires the installation and configuration of a new Avaya brand VoIP telephone system that is already in the USGS possession. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and 13.5 Simplified Procedures for certain commercial items supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; solicitation number G17PS00578 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95, effective 19 Jan 2017. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price type purchase order. This requirement is set aside for small business. Contractor must be an authorized Avaya partner and must provide access to manufacturer¿s warranty and support. All firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, to be considered at award. Responses must be in writing, by email to the Contract Specialist: jmdavis@usgs.gov (DO NOT SEND VIA FEDCONNECT).
