THIS IS A BUY INDIAN SET ASIDE The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting offers to procure for Equipment Rentals for Division of Transportation, Force Accounts Farmington, NM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. A17PS00944, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This acquisition is for a Native American Owned Business Small Business Set-Aside under the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C). The NAICS Code is 532412, Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing $32.5. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and incidentals necessary to provide one (1) each semi tractor truck and one (1) each water tanker to haul water for a road construction project located on Navajo Route N9, Pueblo Pintado, NM. Truck and Tanker shall be utilized on an "AS NEEDED" basis with possible numerous delivery and pick instances. Semi Tractor Truck shall meet the following specifications: Conventional Truck, 2008 or newer minimum 475 horse power diesel engine with minimum 15 speed transmission. Included shall be: hydraulic wet kits, minimum 100 gallon fuel tank, belly dump switches and no sleeper. Water Tanker shall meet the following specifications: Minimum 6000 gallons, tandem axle with fifth wheel hitch and 8" rear discharge. All rental times shall be coordinated through the construction Manager who will inspect equipment for adequacy to the work. All invoices shall be submitted via IPP for payment. Delivery/Freight $ __________ TOTAL $ ______________ Rental of the Equipment may vary depending on work in progress so all deliveries must be coordinated with the Construction Manager. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
