Opportunity: FLOOR RESURFACING

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is made using the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect -- Engineer Contracts. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price, past performance, and completeness and compliance with the solicitation. Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to prepare and apply a product to provide a moisture seal to existing concrete so moisture doesn`t come up through the concrete. Square footage for this project is approximately 700sf. Note: Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Initiate/Update SAM registrations at ttps://www.sam.gov. The Statement of Work will be available for inspection without charge as part of the RFQ. Requests for the RFQ shall be directed to view the entire RFQ on the Governmentwide point of entry available via the Internet at https://www.fbo.gov/ using Keyword / Solicitation #: 140P4318Q0085. Award is restricted to responsible small businesses in accordance Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.203 -- Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources, Set-Asides for Small Business Concerns. The RFQ will be set-aside for 100% for Small Businesses under NAICS Code: 238330, Flooring contractors, (SBA size standard $15.0 Million). The order of magnitude for this project is estimated to be less than $25,000. Location of Work: The location of this work is at the Willett Center, Fort Stanwix National Monument, 112 East Park Street, Rome, New York. Work shall commence on or after 9/28/18 and unless otherwise instructed work shall be completed within 30 days of project start date Dept. of Labor, Construction Wage Rate General Decision Number NY180013 shall apply. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to inspect site prior to proposing.
