Solicitation Number: 140P1318Q0020. The solicitation is attached to include required clauses, wage determination, scope of work, bid schedule, maps, safety checklist and transmittal sheet. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238910. The small business standard is $15M. This work consists of all labor, materials and equipment to remove and dispose of the existing 4 inch asphalt trail surface and replace with a 4 inch concrete trail surface/sidewalk. The main problem with the existing trail is excessive cracking and aging of the existing 4 inch asphalt trail surface. The trail is 5-feet wide. NOTE: Unlike the Main Battlefield Trail, there are NO culverts, bridges, boardwalks, etc., that need to be removed or worked around. All interested offer must have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price contract is expected to be awarded. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cameron County, Brownsville, Texas will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
