Opportunity: Mono Corer from Royal Netherlands Institute of Sea Research (NIOZ)

Description 

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive purchase order to Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) located in Texel, Netherlands for a Mono Corer to collect quantitative, undisturbed core samples from deep sea sediments, to be delivered to the USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center are conducting funded research studies on deep-sea environments in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans. The most critical component of these studies is the quantitative collection of undisturbed sediment cores from remote deep-sea (>200 m) habitats. There are no option years The Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research. is the only known source to provide the required Mono core In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Please email responses to hnair@usgs.gov.
