Opportunity: MARINE GRADE FRESH WATER DISTILLATION PLANT

This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 140F0720Q0011. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-03, effective December 13, 2019. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 333999, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing and the business size standard is 500 Employees. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a 120¿ research vessel and is looking to replace their reverse osmosis water maker. The marine-grade fresh water distillation plant must be able to fit in a space of 40 inches W x 20 inches H x 24 inches D. The unit must be able to run on 3 phase/60 Hz 380/460 volt electrical power supply. Unit must be able to produce 63 Gallons/Hour of product water. It must have an electronic controller which automatically diverts product water to the storage tank and an LCD screen which indicates product water salinity and system status. This unit must include an automatic fresh water flush system. It must have a commercial pre-filter, sand media filter assembly and a UV filter. Proposal shall include cost of shipping FOB to Homer Alaska. Proposal shall include enough information to determine technical acceptability of our requirement.
