Sherwood, OR-Spraying and Planting Wapato Lake NWR Bare Root Plant Installation Winter 2019-20 -Provide staff ecologist to assist Refuge with plant installation logistics and project management support (e.g. timing, spacing, arrangement of species) -Install 19,000 bare root shrubs and trees (one-year old nursery stock) across a 7-acre site. Tualatin River NWR Herbicide Application Late Summer/Fall 2019 and Emergent Plug and Bulb Installation Fall 2019/Spring 2020 -Provide staff ecologist to assist Refuge with plant installation logistics and project management support (e.g. timing, spacing, arrangement of species) -Install 6,300 emergent wetland plugs and bulbs -Apply herbicide to approximately 25 acres of relatively flat and drained wetland, namely targeting reed-canary grass and common cocklebur.
