Description 

Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of 2017 Communications Sites Tower Work, Demolition, and Sitework at Various Locations - Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve communications tower work, demolition, miscellaneous sitework; providing concrete foundations; installation of Government-Furnished Equipment including antennas, feedhorns, radomes, and waveguide; the alignment of antennas; the dismantlement of a tower; transportation and then reassembly of a tower; installation of waveguide ice bridge; installation of a tower monopole; providing tower lighting; providing tower and waveguide grounding’ providing tower and waveguide foundations; performing tower inspections; and painting a tower. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All work is to be completed within 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. The bid opening date is July 25, 2017 with a bid opening time of 2:00 PM Central Time.
