Description 

NEWELL SUBSTATION, STAGE 02, SOUTH DAKOTA Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and other resources to complete this Foundation, Sitework, and Electrical project at the Newell Substation (SD) in the Upper Great Plains. The principal components of the work involve demolition, miscellaneous sitework, concrete foundations, miscellaneous electrical work, and furnishing and installing perimeter security lights near Newell and Sturgis, South Dakota. The work is located at the Newell Substation, which is located about 12 miles east and 12 miles north of Sturgis, SD in Meade County. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All work is to be completed within 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. The bid opening date is March 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. CT.
