Description 

Amendment 0001 - The DOE received quotes that were not advantageous to the Government; therefore, the solicitation is re-opened and extended until 11:00 AM EDT, Tuesday, May 28, 2024. All contractors are eligible to submit a quote. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products or Commercial Services, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Administrative Management and Support is seeking to obtain the rental of two (2) Electric Vehicles (to be rotated every three (3) months) for display at the DOE Headquarters.
