The purpose of Modification 000001 is to clarify the wording for some of the Merit Review Criterion 4 items. The combined objectives of reducing oil and natural gas wastewater volume, beneficial reuse of subsurface energy industry wastewater, potential mitigation of induced seismicity, and characterization and/or recovery of critical resources from oil/natural gas produced water and/or coal combustion residuals wastewater associated with coal power generation are the drivers for this Funding Opportunity Announcement.
