Opportunity: U.S. China Clean Energy Research Center

Description 

The Department of Energy is soliciting applications for the formation of a Consortium to pursue five identified Research and Development topic for Medium and Heavy Trucks. These topics are Advanced Internal Combustion Engine-Powertrain System; Energy Management -System Level Efficiency Improvements; Hybrid Electric Powertrain; Other Key Truck Technologies, and Vehicle Demonstration. Each responsive application will address all five topics. The Consortium that is funded through this solicitation will form a new technical track under the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center, which is a bilateral initiative to encourage Research and Development collaboration and accelerate technology development and deployment in both countries.
