Viewing Your Company's Profile

In FedConnect®, when you sign in as a vendor representative you can view your company's profile which includes general company information, users, address, PSC/FSC codes, and NAICS codes. You use the Company Info page, the Users page, the Address page, the PSC/FSC page, and the NAICS page to access this information.

Note

If you are a vendor administrator, then you can edit the information on the Company Info, and Users pages. See Managing Your Company's Information, Managing Your Company's Users, and Searching FedConnect® for Your Company's Audits.

If you are a vendor representative, then the information on the Company Info and User pages are read-only.

The Address, PSC/FSC, and NAICS pages are always read-only regardless of your user role.

About the Company Info Page

The Company Info page enables you to update basic information about your company in FedConnect®. On this page you can view and/or update the following information:

Updating from SAM

Only a vendor administrator can update from SAM. When you update your company information from SAM, the CAGE number that displays on the Company Info page is replaced with the most recent CAGE number from your company profile at SAM. In addition, your company's address, PSC/FSC codes, and NAICS codes are updated with the most recent information from CCR as well.

Setting Your Company's Email Notification Method

Only a vendor administrator can determine whether FedConnect® sends email notifications about opportunities, awards, and other alerts to a central email address for your company (for instance, to a distribution list email), to the email addresses of individual users at your company, to both, or to neither.

When you set your company's email notification method, keep the following in mind:

Changing Your Company's Contact Information, PSC/FSC Code, and/or NAICS Code

Only a vendor administrator can change your company's contact information.

To do this, you must first update your company's profile, PSC/FSC code, and/or NAICS code with SAM. Once you have done so in SAM, sign in to FedConnect®, and click Update Company from SAM on the Company Info page.

About the Users Page

The Users page displays a list of the users from your company who have access to FedConnect® as either a vendor representative or a vendor administrator. From the Users page vendor administrators can also access the Add User page, the Admin Tools page, the User Info page, and the Notifications page, all of which are related to vendor user data in FedConnect®. The search feature is the only function available to a vendor representative on the Users page.

Searching for an Existing User

You might have dozens or even hundreds of users stored in the FedConnect® database. Therefore you have the ability to search through the list of your company's users for an existing user on the Users page.

The following table lists the search fields that display on this page, and descriptions of each.

Field Description

First Name

In the First Name field, type the first name of the user for whom you are searching.

Last Name

In the Last Name field, type the last name of the user for whom you are searching.

Email

In the Email field, type the email address of the user for whom you are searching.

Status

In the Status field, choose the way in which you want to limit the search results by user status.

  • Select Active to limit the list of users to only those whose status in FedConnect® is active.
  • Select Inactive to limit the list of users to only those whose status in FedConnect® is inactive.
  • Select Pending to limit the list of users to only those whose status in FedConnect® is pending
  • Select Rejected to limit the list of users to only those whose status in FedConnect® is rejected.
  • Select All to not limit the list of users based on the users' statuses in FedConnect®.
Roles

In the Roles field, choose the way in which you want to limit the search results by user role.

  • Select Administrator to limit the list of users to those who are set up as Vendor Administrators.
  • Select Representative to limit the list of users to those who are set up as Vendor Representatives.
  • Select All to not limit the list of users based on the users' roles in FedConnect®.

About the Address Page

Use the Address page if you are a vendor administrator or vendor representative and you want to view the address information that is added to FedConnect® when you update your company's vendor information from SAM. The Address page displays the following information:

About the PSC/FSC Page

Use the PSC/FSC page if you are a vendor administrator or a vendor representative and you want to view the product service codes (PSC) and federal supply codes (FSC) that are added to FedConnect® when you update your company's vendor information from SAM.

About the NAICS Page

Use the NAICS page if you are a vendor administrator or a vendor representative and you want to view the North American industry classification system (NAICS) codes that are added to FedConnect® when you update your company's vendor information from SAM.
