Using the Bid Summary Page

Use the Bid Summary page to view a summary of the bid you have placed on the line items in a reverse auction opportunity in FedConnect®.

Only one user at a time from a company is allowed to bid on an auction. In other words, if User A from your company currently has the Bid Summary page open in read/write mode, then if User B clicks the Bid on Auction link, a pop-up window displays to notify User B that User A is already bidding on the auction. The Bid Summary page will display for User B, but in read-only mode.

The same thing happens if a user attempts to bid on an auction after it is canceled or closed. This might occur if you click Submit Bid and confirmed your bid after the time on the auction ran out, or if a PRISM user canceled the auction while you were undergoing the bidding process.

Notes

If you view a live auction, or if you clicked the Bid on Auction link on the My Auctions page, then the fields on the Bid Summary page are read-write.

If you view a closed auction, or if you click the Monitor Auction link on the My Auctions page, then the fields on the Bid Summary page are read/only.

On this page you can:
