CURE - BOAT/JET MOTOR/TRAILER GENERAL INFORMATION This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor; providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) P17PS02150. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. This RFQ is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All small business concerns may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336612 and the small business size standard is 750 Employees. REQUIREMENT Curecanti National Recreation Area has a requirement for the following: Achilles SU 18 GY Boat, name brand or equal, with accompanying jet motor and trailer. Equipment must meet or exceed specifications in attached Spec Sheet. See salient characteristics in attached specifications sheet. Products shall be brand name or equal. Brand name is suggested to indicate the quality of product desired. Reference FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm). Award will be based on best price for product meeting or exceeding specifications. Interested vendors should submit with their quote a proposed delivery date, if awarded. Anticipated price range is between $15,000 and $30,000.
