Opportunity: VAFO PCK ESTATE REFLECTING POOL

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Philander Chase Knox Reflecting Pool Repair, Valley Forge NHP, King of Prussia, PA - The work will take place at 151 Library Lane, Malvern, PA 19355, Chester County. The work will includes restoration of the reflecting ponds, fountain, and rills located directly behind the Philander Chase Knox house. The work consists of the total reconstruction of the Lower Rill area, the masonry and floor of the Main Reflecting Pond, the repair of the Upper Rill and Upper Patio Area, Upper Pond, and Fountain Area, Drainage, and Site Work as required by the contract documents. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive total small business set-aside acquisition limited to small business firms. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238140 Masonry Contractors with a small business size standard of $15M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: There will be an organized site visit on Tuesday, August 1 @ 10 AM Eastern Time, participants will meet at Valley Forge National Historical Park, Administration Building, 1400 North Outer Line Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
