Opportunity: BOWDOIN NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE CLEANUP

THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Under the authority of the Montana Underground Storage Tank Act (Title 75, Chapter 11), Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is requiring the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) to conduct an additional soil and groundwater investigation to assess the current extent of petroleum contamination related to historic leaking underground storage tanks that have since been removed at Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, near Malta, and Red Rock Lake National Wildlife Refuge near Lime, MT. The Groundwater Investigation will be conducted at two Fish and Wildlife Refuges, Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge near Malta, MT and Red Rock National Wildlife Refuge near Lima, MT. The project will include the following scope of work, there will be 3 Task associated with the groundwater investigation. TASK 1: Project Management and Planning; TASK 2: Groundwater and Soil Investigation and TASK 3: Reporting. The NAICS code is 562910, Remediation Services, and the size standard is $20 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about May 31, 2016 with an anticipated closing date of June 15, 2016.
