DOE's State Energy Program (SEP) is seeking to provide grants to state energy offices in all states and U.S. territories to design and carry out their own renewable energy and energy efficiency programs. States use grants to address their energy priorities and program funding to adopt emerging renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. States often combine many sources of funding for their projects, including DOE and private industry. The outcome is an innovative deployment of new energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies across the geographic panorama of the United States and its territories. The mission of the State Energy Program is to provide leadership to maximize the benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy through communications and outreach activities, technology deployment, and accessing new partnerships and resources.
