Opportunity: Annual Renewal of CalLite XAV16 Solver Software License

The United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Mid-Pacific Region intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Sunset Software Technology, 1613 Chelsea Road, Suite 153, San Marino, CA for an annual renewal license for the vendor's CalLite XAV16 Solver modeling software under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A Determination to Solicit from a Single Source has been prepared and approved at the appropriate level. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Firms believing, they can provide this supply above must provide written notification within 5 days of the posting date of this notice to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. All responses received within the due date of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. The due date and time for responses is Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to the Government point of contact listed below and shall include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number and Tax Identification Number. Firms shall identify their business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 511210 which is $35.5 millions. If no responses are received, USBR will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Sunset Software Technology.
