Opportunity: BLRI INSPECT/CLEAN OTTER CREEK CMPG UST

Purpose of Amendment 001 is to provide attachments (2) SOW and Tank Diagram The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the services to inspect and clean the Fixed Activated Sludge Treatment (FAST) wastewater treatment underground storage tank (UST) located at Otter Creek Campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the vicinity of MP 60.6. This contract will inspect the UST providing a detailed condition assessment and proposed mitigation plan for deficiencies discovered as well as a basic cleaning of the interior surfaces of the UST properly disposing of the rinsate, sludge, debris and other waste. The project site is located at Otter Creek Campground is located along the Blue Ridge Parkway with the FAST UST located 3 miles north of Big Island, Virginia in Amherst County. The UST project site may only be accessed from an unimproved dirt road which branches off from the paved motor road in the vicinity of milepost 61. The closest access to the project site is via US Highway 130 and the intersection of the Blue Ridge Parkway approximately ¼ mile north of the intersection. 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside The NAICS code is 238160 Roofing Contractors, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $15.0; and NAICS 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors, $15.0; and NAICS 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, $15.0. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete this roof project. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order.
