Opportunity: UMESC CAT6A CABLING UPGRADES

Description

Amendment 0005 is issued to provide answers to additional questions received and to correct the completion of work from 45 calendar days to 180 calendar days. 1) Each star on the drawings represents (2) data cables, but in question #3 on amendment 4 it states that each location should have a 3rd cable for phone. Please confirm that we are to install (2) data and (1) phone cable at each star. Each star will have 2 data cables. A third cable will be run for phone where the alternate pricing is indicated for re-locating any phone drops. 2) From my question #1, are you trying to say that we are to reuse the existing phone cable? Existing phone cables need to be replaced where specified. 3) You also say in question # 9 the voice port where applicable, how are we to know where it is applicable or not? The applicability is specified in the SOW. 5) Please clarify the use of non plenum cable in segments A and B??? As the original RFP and Amendment #1 both state that all cabling and loom tubing shall be plenum rated. After further consideration, it has been determined that non-plenum cabling is acceptable in segments A and B.
