Amendment 0002 is issued to provide the answer to the following question received: 1) Can we use 5000 psi concrete at 4 inches vice 4000 psi at 6 inches? No but 4500 psi at 5 inches would be acceptable in lieu of 6" at 4000 psi. This Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)has a requirement for concrete walkway rehabilitation in Lacrosse, WI and in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation number is 140G0218Q0198 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238110 - Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes contained in this solicitation shall be adhered to. There will be an organized site visit on August 1st at 1:00 PM CST.
